These are one of the largest species of Katydid in the world. Despite their size, they are very docile. They need a diet of bramble, oak, rose and fruit which can be supplemented with dried shrimp/insects.
Due to their adult size, it is recommended that a large glass/plastic enclosure is used (they can chew through netting). A 45x45x60cm is suitable for an adult pair.
